ABOUT DONALDSON'S SURVEYORS LIMITED
This survey practice was first registered as RJ Donaldson and Associates Limited in 1979 and from that time on has been active in its own offices situated in the centre of Kerikeri, Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
The operating name of DONALDSONS was adopted in 2000 to reflect the increasing involvement of the two family sons having graduated from Otago University and then in April 2009 the company was renamed to Donaldson's Surveyors Limited for the same reasons.
Specialist skills within the company include Land Transfer surveys, Resource Management consent applications, land development projects, topographic detail surveys, and housing projects.
DONALDSONS utilise the latest hardware and software in their office computers and field instrumentation and their staff are fully trained and proficient with these electronic tools which enable fast and efficient data transfer resulting in cost effective results for their clients.
Hardware includes Topcon TS theodolites, Trimble 5800 GPS and computers set up on a server network linked to an A1 plotter. Software is Civilcad 6 on a permanent upgrade contract, Terralink on a three month upgrade contract and Landonline for LINZ data lodgement.
DONALDSONS are located in the heart of Kerikeri upstairs above the National Bank building (as shown in the picture below) with client parking behind the building.
